BENEFITING: World Arts Focus
Each year Joe’s serves nearly 500 students with 38 weeks of after school arts programs, two months of summer camp, artist residencies for local elementary schools and a teen performance ensemble. Each component is designed to meet a child’s developmental needs and educational interests. And, we provide over $70,000 in financial aid annually, making Joe’s an affordable option for economically disadvantaged families.
Joe’s incorporates the National Arts Standards and follows best practices of youth service and outreach programs. We are certified by the county, state and led by instructors with specialized training in diverse styles of artistic expression -- African drum and dance, Salsa, Merengue, visual arts, modern dance, vocals and more! Together they represent more than 50 years of cumulative teaching and administrative experience.
$3,000 endows a one-year scholarship for one child to our Club Joe’s after school program.
