Doesn't a week away from all the stresses in your life sound pretty good? I know it does to me! Then I think about the kids living in the slums in South Africa, surrounded by poverty, abuse, and AIDS and I realize...they need a break way more than I do.
On top of having the time of their lives, kids who get to go to Camp Sizanani in South Africa are taught good hygiene practices, basic nutrition, and ways to keep themselves healthy and HIV-free. They do it all through games, activities, and interactive lessons...they're never preached at or put on the spot. And they walk away from the experience with a new way of looking at their lives...not as hopeless victims, but as the leaders of the change they want for themselves and their friends.
So to help give just ONE kid that opportunity this year (there's a Camp Sizanani session scheduled for December), I'm asking for help raising $500. That's all it takes! If you have a few bucks you could possibly spare, please click on DONATE and let's change a kid's life together!
