Dear family & friends and anyone else visiting this page...
As some of you may or may not already know, I’m going on my third mission trip this summer, to the country of Togo in West Africa. Since my first mission trip to Mexico 7 years ago I felt like I was starting to prepare myself for Africa. From the moment I first decided I wanted to be a missionary 8 years ago, I felt particularly called by God to Africa - since it was seeing and hearing the stories of the clean water epidemic there that first changed my heart to want to do something tangible about poverty. I knew I had to go to Africa someday, and try to help solve this problem with my own two hands. The opportunity has finally come for me to go with an incredible group of people that I traveled to Haiti with last year - Mentor Leaders & Conduit Mission.
I’ll be going with the pastor of my church from Franklin, Darren Tyler, and with my friend and Mentor Leaders president David Whetstone. Last year I spent a week in Jacmel, Haiti with them, working with locals and other missionaries we distributed supplies, fed children, conducted medical clinics, helped build houses for earthquake victims, and more. These two organizations are the most pragmatic and effectively run ministry operations I’ve ever been involved with, and in August with your help I'll be traveling to Togo for a two week mission trip with them!

In Africa our mission will be to serve the most impoverished and needy villages of Togo. These villages are categorized by not having a clean water source, access to medical care, an orphanage or a school. We partner with churches, businesses and individuals to reach these villages by providing them with clean water through digging wells and building eternal relationships. Mentor Leaders has 25 acres they are developing, and they have expedition teams going throughout the entire summer to clear land, drill wells and build homes for an orphanage.
Please consider supporting my trip in any way you can, whether it be through prayer or a donation. The rough total of the expense of the trip is $4,000. On the trip I'll also be filming a mini documentary and taking thousands of photos to document all the amazing work being done there, much the same way I did on my last trip to Haiti.
