Send Liana to Watershed this summer!
Organized by: Liana Agnew
EVENT DATE Jul 26, 2015
Hi friends! This summer I have been very fortunate to receive a Kiln God Scholarship to attend a session at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts. For those who may not know, Watershed is a residency facility located in New Castle, Maine, which fosters artists and ideas through the creation of clay. With community, collaboration, and exploration, this non-profit organization allows artists and educators the opportunity to create and develop ideas in an intimate environment. A two week session at Watershed could be a watershed moment (pun intended) in a developing artists career - which could give me the chance to meet and work alongside other artists, further understand the medium, expand on concepts, and more.
Even with the scholarship, the remainder of the residency program and travel expenses will cost me a good bit out of pocket. As a recent graduate from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, earning a BS in Art Education and a BFA concentrating in Ceramics, my passion for clay and education could not allow me to give up this opportunity without trying.
If you are feeling lovely and generous enough to donate, I would LOVE to give back to you and show my appreciation by giving you the following:
Over $50: Thrown/pinched cup.
Over $75: Thrown/pinched cup and spoon.
Over $100: Medium pinched basket.
Over $150: Garlic box.
Over $200: Butterdish and spoon.
Thank you all so much for your time and I hope you're able to help fund my cause!
