Send MacKenzie to NYLF

My daughter is a Junior in High School. She has been given an INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY to attend a summer program to advance her plans for her future. This morning in the mail we received a nomination for her to go to a summer workshop at Johns Hopkins University. She has worked very hard to get where she is academically. She has faced many hardships both medically and emotionally. She has a physical disability that creates the need for her to be ultra vigilant in everything she does, She has worked herself out of a wheelchair and is now a straight A student. This program will give her the opportunity to attend a 10 day program at Johns Hopkins University to interact with medical professionals and see first hand what college life is like. She will have the opportunity to extend her visit for 4 additional days in our nation's capital. The issue with this is, I am a single mother with limited funds. The program costs a total of $4,200.00 and she will need money for travel and herself while she is there. I would love to be able to send her and let her experience everything that is available. The program tuition is needed by March 18th. But to get her signed up we need an initial $1,100.00 to pay for her place and study books. She will get 2 college credits from Johns Hopkins for attending this program. I know this is alot to ask from people who do not know us, but she is very deserving and I cannot give this to her on my own. Please help me to make this dream come true.
