send me back to Haiti
Organized by: JESSICA RINK
October 2014: I left my heart in Haiti after a 10-day trip to a little village called Grand Savanne. God willing, I aim to return with a teaching credential and a whole lot of love for the little ones living in the most underserved and impoverished country in the Western hemisphere.
The only way to create lasting change in a society is to enable systemic change from within...which in this case, it must be done HAITIAN (not American), preserving the wonderful history and culture of this island. The people of Haiti have been enslaved long enough -- in service to conquering nations, under the oppression of tyrannical rule, through natural-disaster distruction, and amidst the grip of voodoo-generated forces shredding any progress or meaningful recovery.
The future of Haiti must learn HOW to take action. And to learn social change, they must first learn how to read, write, learn of their history, and determine how not to repeat it.
I stand at the ready to join in this worthy mission for Haiti - which succeeds only through the Grace and Lovingkindness of the only Savior, Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your consideration of supporting me in this mission. I look forward to partnering with you to share some love in Haiti!
