The project for which we are requesting funds is for dentals
for the senior cats in our care. These funds could make a
huge difference in the quality of life for these cats.
Even though our vets have been kind enough to give us a
discount, our bills mount up very quickly. Since The Cat
Posse does not have a "shelter,” we do not have any costs
for rent or facilities. All employees volunteer their time,
so there are no salaries. With the exception of veterinary
costs, the vast majority of costs associated with fostering
are paid by the kindness of foster families through in-kind
donations of food, litter and incidentals. While our team of
dedicated volunteers gives generously of their time and
money, expenses for the 200 cats now in our care are
exceeding our budget expectations, so dental care often must
be put on hold, in order to take care of other
