BENEFITING: CHILDRENS HOSPITALS NATIONAL FOUNDATION
Do you remember hitting the beach as a child on those summer days? Running away from the tides as if they were evil sea minions trying to catch you! How about the ice cream man? Do you remember him? Do you remember running to your parents begging for spare change as soon as you heard the blissful tunes that his ice cream truck echoed? Whatever your summer memories were picture those for a second. Now picture yourself having none of them. Picture your childhood in a room, in a hospital room, fighting for your life. For some children those are their summer memories. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and I want to do my part to help those children whose summer memories are tortuously spent in a hospital room. My goal for September is to raise $150 for child cancer patients. All donations will go to Children's Hosptials National Foundation, a nonprofit organization, whose goal, like mine. is to help end childhood cancer. Together we can kick cancer's butt! Come on, let's do this!
