Mission: To enhance the quality of life in the Hispanic Community and other communities in need by providing education, training, and employment services that empower individuals, businesses and communities.
About Our Mission: SER – Jobs For Progress (SER) was founded in 1965 as a job bank to assist Hispanic veterans through the combined efforts of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the American G.I. Forum, and the U.S Department of the Navy. Throughout the past 48 years, the agency has evolved, expanded, and broadened its goals to serve all communities in need. More than simply providing individuals with employment, SER's goal is to help clients attain living-wage careers and place them on the road to long-term financial stability.
SER fulfills its mission by providing clients with occupational training programs, financial literacy, job readiness training, education, and job coaching. SER is transforming the lives of individuals and their families...one job at a time.
