TO IMPROVE OUR COMMUNITY
Volunteer San Diego's Serve-a-thon is our largest annual service event and fundraising campaign encompassing two days of service, October 21 & 22, in conjunction with the nation's largest day of service, Make A Difference Day - a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors! Serve-a-thon volunteers will build a healthier, safer, more beautiful San Diego County with renovation and construction projects such as creating community gardens, murals, interior/exterior facelifts and landscaping.
Some organizations have a walk-a-thon to raise money; some have a big, fancy gala. Serve-a-thon is how Volunteer San Diego does a fundraising event - with volunteers, paint, shovels, lumber, flowers and a whole lot of fun! Not only is Serve-a-thon a way for Volunteer San Diego to offer year-round programming as a vital nonprofit in the San Diego community, but it is a way for us to connect volunteers and our volunteer project know-how to other nonprofits in need. Whether or not you can come out to volunteer for Serve-a-thon, please help us fundraise!
