After nearly a decade of war in both Iraq and Afghanistan the heroes who stepped up and answered the call after 9/11 have returned home and found that a job/a career/or even a degree is much harder to come by now that they have given between 4-20 years of their lives in service to their country. Help us show our Veterans that not only are they not forgotten but we can go above and beyond to develop new and better ways to retrain, develop and prepare them for the world they will enter after serving. After WWII we had the "Greatest Generation", we have been at war for twice as long since 2003 and our Veterans under the age of 30 have an unemployment rate that is almost twice the national average! For America to step back into prosperity we must foster our greatest asset, we must provide our young leaders and motivated warriors the chance to positively contribute to the economic recovery. What better industry to achieve this in but the green tech/clean tech/sustainability fields... We all know that Green is where the world is headed, both out of necessity and the ethical obligation we owe this Earth, thus training and developing Veterans to fill the gap in tipping the Green Revolution into the mainstream is vital to our countries success in spreading eco-friendly practices to the rest of the world...
