Service Dog for Susan
Organized by: Susan Oplinger
Susan has Cerebral Palsy and an anxiety disorder. She is wanting to try and face her fears and get back out into the world! Physically when she falls it is getting harder for her to get back up and her balance is deteriorating. A service dog could be trained to help her in four ways: first picking up things off the floor for her (so that she is not bending over and losing her balance), second helping her keep her balance as she walks, third being there when she has fallen for her to use to help herself up, and fourth as a psychological support helping her to face her fears. This would do much to help her regain some INDEPENDENCE! I know times are tough and money is tight, but please help! If 300 people would each give $20 we would have the goal reached. Packing a lunch instead of eating out three times, or one less Starbucks a week for a month would allow you to send $20. So please give at least $20, more if you can! TRAINING, TRAVEL, and EQUIPMENT are some of the expenses we face, so thank you for your help. Please share this with others as well to help us reach the goal. Thanks Again!
