After having been denied funding by ETSU Student Government Association, we are now asking all advocates of open dialogue about sexual health to PLEASE help support this cause! We honestly cannot do it without your support. Please, if you can, donate and spread the word. We will not be silenced in our attempts to provide students with the resources they need to be empowered and informed in their sexual health decisions.
The overall goal of Sex Week at ETSU is to help the student body by providing them with the necessary information and skills to make the best personal decisions for their emotional and physical health and to empower them to put those skills into action.
-Open campus conversation about these socially taboo subjects
-Provide the ETSU community with more information to better maintain their reproductive health and safety
-Foster an open environment for the week's topics to become long-term campus dialogues
-Provide students with the skills for healthy relationships
-These issues affect everyone in a variety of different ways so we will strive to be as inclusive as possible and promote diversity
-We will work to create an open discussion of commnication and boundaries to promote consent
-To treat these incredibly personal and sensitive issues with the respect they deserve
