We are in it to win! Thanks to your generosity we have surpassed our goal of saving 30 lives in 30 days! Now we need your help to win the top prize of $50,000 from Michelson Found Animals by being the top fundraiser. Here is how it works: We are in a competition with shelters and animal-welfare groups throughout the country to see who can raise the most funds for their organization. If we raise the most, then we will get a $50,000 grant for our Behavior Team. Just think of how many lives we can save with this prize, so we definitely want to win! Right now we are in second place and very close to taking the lead. With your help we can win the grand prize and make a huge difference for fearful animals in our community.
We're helping animals like Diego learn to trust again.
Have you ever encountered a fearful dog? A frightened dog who is trembling, with their tail tucked between their legs, looking up at you with panic in their eyes? No matter how gently you try to reassure them, it takes time for a fearful dog to learn to trust again. Because our resources for time and space are limited, the behavior staff has to choose who they think they can help the most in the shortest amount of time. Making that choice is not something we want to do. We want to save them all, and we know that you feel the same way.
In order to save more lives we need your help now. We are counting on you to help us save as many lives as we can from September 29 - October 30. Our goal is to raise $500 per animal for this critical behavior care.
If you have ever encountered a frightened dog, you know how heartbreaking it is to see an animal who is afraid to trust. Please help us give these animals the chance they deserve to break free from fear and find their way back to our community. With your help, we can do it – and so can they.
