2016 is a humbling yet incredible year. It is a year that I take time to rest, do nothing, and go back to school. As I progress along with TIEMBA programme, I feel privileged to receive the best education, and even more fortunate to be able to give others a chance to live better lives. I decided to do charity run in Sundown this year.
FUND RECIPIENT Little Flower Charity in Beijing, provides care and medical services to physically and mentally handicapped newborn to teenager orphans in China. The orphans sometimes are not able to be adopted as they have birth defects, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, heart conditions, down syndrome, limb deformities, deafness, and visual impairment. With a mission to “respect, protect, love, and serve life,” Little Flower strives to bring comfort, joy, and smiles to each minute of these children’s lives and truly celebrates of the beauty of each child’s life.
PS: Please note that the funds will be directly donated to the organisation and I won't physically hold any donation money.
CALLING and GOAL! For parents, or parents to be, or singles who were children before, I call for donation of any amount to reach the target fund (baby target ok!) as I run for Sundown race on 28 May this year.
MY RUNNING COMRADES I am fortunate to be born and grew up with two healthy, fun and supportive siblings (Toh Chin Keong, Toh Hui Woon) who will join me for this cause. Thanks sis for flying from KL.
I also encourage TIEMBA 17 classmates to join me for this special race. Let's make our 2016 count. With love, Levenza
