Sgt Brian Alvarado, USMC
Organized by: Rocio Tamayo
Sgt Brian Alvarado, a U.S. Marine OIF veteran, has been experiencing a wide range of medical issues for about 8 years. In addition to battling cancer Sgt Brian is currently an inpatient at the Long Beach CA VA Medical Center trying to survive a throat inflammation. This Marine who fought for our nation has now found himself in a fight for his life. As you can imagine, his illness has been very difficult for everyone who is close to him, specially his wife and daughter. As his health continued to deteriorate, he was unable to keep his job/career which he initiated after leaving the Marine Corps . But Marines never give up and we believe in "Never leaving a Marine behind" This is where we need your help! We are hoping to raise enough money for treatments and Medical needs, but also enough to provide a cushion of support for Brian, Rocio and their daughter while they contend with this challenging disease. This will enable Rocio (the sole income earner) to care for Brian and assist him without having to worry about money for bills, food or utilities when she has to take time off from work so she can be with him. Every penny donated will go towards helping Sgt Alvarado in his recovery and his fight for life. Your donations could very well help save his life!
