In a nutshell, we put kids and adults with disabilities on horseback for therapy. It's fun! Sometimes it's awe inspiring. It is always challenging and is real therapy. We have seen first steps and heard first words. Yes, "Yeah!" and "Horse go!" count!!!
The need? The CDC reports that 1 in 69 kids are now born with Autism. UT Southwestern says that 85% of those kids respond to therapeutic riding.
More need? 80% of troops with PTSD respond to therapeutic riding.
