SACRAMENTO AREA CONGREGATIONS TOGETHER's Fundraiser:

Shake for Justice

SACRAMENTO AREA CONGREGATIONS TOGETHER's Photo

THE STORY:

The Harlem shake is sweeping the nation and here at Sacramento Area Congregations Together, we are getting the Harlem shake bug. If we raise $1,000 in the next month, we will release our very own Sacramento ACT “Shake for Justice” Harlem Shake video!

All funds raised will support ACT's work to: Create a more healthy community by reaching 5,000 congregants on new health care reform enrollment options through health fairs this fall; build support for federal immigration reform by training 50 new immigrant leaders to be effective advocates in their community; maintain the few pipelines left for affordable housing in Sacramento by mobilizing the hundreds of members of the faith community to urge our city and county leaders to protect inclusionary housing ordinances. You can make a difference on important issues in our community AND enjoy the silliness of ACT folks getting their Harlem shake on!
