BENEFITING: CHILDRENS MEMORIAL RESEARCH CENTER
EVENT DATE: Mar 15, 2014
Six years ago a group of guys got together to celebrate a soon to be married bachelor by walking in Chicago's St. Patrick's Day Parade and raising money for a local children's hospital. The guys named the group Frank Tribuzio Family and Friends after the bachelor.
Each year since, Tribuzio Family and Friends have continued to raise money for a local children's hospital by walking in the parade. The group's family and friends have grown over the years, as well as the number of children they have in their lives, making this fundraiser even more special.
This year Tribuzio Family and Friends is donating to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, formerly Children’s Memorial Hospital. The hospital provides superior pediatric care in a setting that offers the latest benefits and innovations in medical technology, research and family-friendly design. Lurie Children’s relies on philanthropic funding to enhance its programs and services for children and families. The hospital works with children with various conditions such as Leukemia, Osteogenic Sarcoma, Cancer, and Heart Failure to name a few. The most amazing part about the hospital is it's patient stories which you can read on thier website. (Stories)
We're walking in Chicago's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 15th 2014 and are trying to raise $1,000 for Lucie's Children by then. Please help us meet our goal by donating as much as your heart compells you, and if you're in the Chicago area on the 15th, please come join us. Each person walking in the parade will also be donating to our cause.
