BENEFITING: Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, Inc.
Shantanu turns 7 on May 6, 2013. Inspired by the overwhelming support from his friends and family last year, this year again Shan would like to make another child’s wish come true.
Instead of gifts for him, Shan is requesting his friends to help him raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation. Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. According to a 2011 study of wish impact, most health professionals surveyed say a wish come true can affect their health outcomes. Kids say wishes give them renewed strength to fight their illness, and their parents say these experiences strengthen the entire family.
As part of his birthday celebration, Shan would love to see a child’s wish come true. To do that his goal is to raise $300 to donate to the foundation. 100% of the money raised will be donated towards making a little child's wish come true.
