BENEFITING: SHARED HOPE INTERNATIONAL
EVENT DATE: Jul 29, 2013
So, here's the thing. Every year, the Regan family donates their time, talent, and love to an amazing organization that is continually working to do great things through the prevention of human trafficking. This year, I'm peer pressuring you to join the bandwagon.
Shared Hope is an organization that educates the public about human trafficking and rescues and restores victims of human trafficking. What is human trafficking? It is the business of selling human beings for sex, drugs, labor, and other forms of slavery. There are an estimated 27 million adult victims and 13 million victims under 18 around the world. Human trafficking has been reported by all 50 states in the U.S., and is considered to be one of the fastest growing criminal enterprises in the world. More facts will be shared at the concert.
Good news: YOU CAN HELP! Just by attending the concert and/or making a small donation, you will have made a difference! Every ounce of positive energy that you can spread helps (and so does every dollar!)
If you cannot attend the concert, please take the time to learn about the issue by visiting www.sharedhope.org, www.humantrafficking.org, www.polarisproject.org, www.usccb.org, or one of the other great organizations working to combat human trafficking in our world.
