BENEFITING: Operation Smile
EVENT DATE: Feb 12, 2013
As a ambassador for Operation Smile it is time for me to roll up my sleeves and join the amazing volunteers who give thier time in support of our important cause, repairing smiles. Here is how you can help. As a part of Sharif's Mission to Ecuador, I am hosting a donation drive with the goal of repairing the smile of at least 40 children ($9,600).
FOLLOW ME ON MY JOURNEY!
I am calling on my fans, friends and family to follow me on my journey. I will document my mission on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. You will see firsthand the incredible work Operation Smile performs, the children we serve, and hopefully be moved to donate--a minimum of $10--to this amazing cause. Here are my social media platforms to follow my mission:
ON TWITTER: http://www.twitter.com/sharifatkins
ON YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/user/sharifatkinsfans1
ON FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/sharifatkinsfans
There is no limit on how much you can give or the number of times you can contribute to this important cause. You can start your own team and set your own fundraising goal. Then, like I inspired you, recruit your friends, family and fans (we all have fans) to donate.
ABOUT OPERATION SMILE:
Operation Smile is an amazing organization that changes the lives of children born with cleft palates. Every three minutes, a child is born with a cleft. One in 10 of those children won’t survive past their first birthday. Those who do survive often can’t eat or speak properly, are shunned and many don’t attend school. In as few as 45 minutes, and for as little as $240, Operation Smile can provide a child with free reconstructive surgery that will give new hope, laughter and smiles. Operation Smile has provided surgery for more than 160,000 children worldwide since its founding in 1982.
