Sharing with the U.S. Indigenous
Organized by: Michelle Lampman
The United States have taken so much from the Indians that were here when our ancestors first migrated over. We killed millions of them, decimated buffalo herds to starve them, forced them to live as we live, forced our beliefs on them, all for the white man gain. We drove them onto smaller and smaller pieces of land, stealing and breaking treaties, leaving them in poverty, jobless, with extremely poor shelter, no heat or electricity. Please, lets not forget about the people that helped ours to survive when we first came to this country. We owe them that, plus so much more.
