Organized by: Kimberly Coy

February 27, 2016 Shawn was rushed to the ER in an ambulance. He had had a mild stroke. After a month of tests, March 25, 2016, he was diagnosed with MS. His world and his family's came crashing down. There is no known cure for MS. It is debilitating and relentless. Daily he is constantly fatigued, in constant pain, slurred speech, forgetfulness, loss of balance, insomnia, has a hard time swollen and can't concentrate. Shawn is a Veteran with the United States Marines. He served as a Military Police Officer. He has raised two children that are not biologically his, into fine young adults. By trade, he's a manager and is always doing to help others. Now, he is struggling. He will be starting treatments at Vanderbilt soon to help treat his MS. He and his family are struggling to pay all the doctors bills that come in on a daily basis. He is a very proud man and hates asking for help. Please help this man who has helped so many others
