Next for AUtism Power Pedal
April 14, 2017
Want to do good while feeling good? On April 30th, NEXT for Autism is holding its first ever Power Pedal event to raise funds for programs and opportunities that empower individuals with autism to live joyful and fulfilling lives. Join us at SoulCycle on E. 63rd Street at 2pm for 45 minutes of cycling and sweating, as we come together to support innovative initiatives that improve the lives of individuals living with autism and their families right now.
NEXT for Autism, formerly New York Collaborates for Autism, has spent nearly 15 years building innovative programs including the NYC Autism Charter School, the first charter school for children with autism in NY; the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain, a diagnostic, clinical and research facility with NY-Presbyterian Hospital, and soon NEXT for Neighbors, a community-living program for adults with autism, a fast-growing segment of the population.
We're asking each rider to reach out to friends, family and colleagues to raise a minimum of $2,000, but we hope you'll set your goals even higher. You'll receive a specially designed backpack, T-shirt, water bottle and more to thank you for your efforts. Remember: Someone you know loves someone with autism. Power Pedal for them!
