USA for UNHCR is taking on the worst refugee crisis since WWII, with thousands of families forced away from their homes every day. Kevin and I feel compelled to help raise awareness for the horrendous conditions set upon these people by no choice of their own, and evermore grateful for a fortunate life devoid of such adversity. The week of December 12 - 19 I am taking part in the #Run4Refugees 13.1 mile (run/walk) event in hopes of raising $25,000 to contribute to USA for UNHCR. I am dedicating each mile to the world's refugees.
How do I participate in a virtual run/walk?
Start with any distance, anytime and anywhere over the course of one week, December 12-19 – until you reach 13.1 miles. You can walk, jog, or run every day, every other day, or all in one day! You can do it outside, on a treadmill, at your gym, and indoor track, in your neighborhood or any other location you choose.
Please donate if you can!
- $50 ($1.91/mile) - Provides blankets for 5 families
- $100 ($3.82/mile) - Provides kitchen sets for 5 families
- $450 ($17.18/mile) - Provides a tent to shelter 1 family
- $2,250 ($85.88/mile) - Provides tents to give shelter to 5 families
All donations will go directly to USA for UNHCR through Crowdrise.
