Help Shelter England Fight Against Cap on Housing Benefits
Organized by: Sia Bard
The situation looks grave right now for those living outside London and South-east England. The government, led by UK Chancellor George Osborne, is considering to introduce a cap on current housing benefits.
As someone who lives in the affected area, I think this is not a fair move by the government even if they ARE trying to save money. But if this is done at the expense of people who really need the benefits in the first place, then this should not be executed.
Luckily there are organizations that understand the plight of the people, namely organizations like Shelter England. At the moment they are looking into this matter and will help champion the cause where housing benefits would be maintained.
Every little bit counts, let's help Shelter England help our people.
