In the fifth month of pregnancy, Tony and Sandy Cappelli found out that their expectant son had a serious heart defect.
On December 13, 2002, Steven Joseph Cappelli was born.
He lived only 32 hours.
Tony and Sandy searched for a way to ease their pain and find meaning of Steven's short life.
They started Steven's Hope for Children to assist families who face the difficult task of caring for a seriously ill child.
Steven's Hope for Children provides families of seriously ill or injured children with housing, emotional support, and other essential needs during and after the child's treatment.
Since 2002, Steven's Hope has helped hundreds of children in Southern California, across the nation, and around the world.
Steven's Hope is funded through donations made by individuals and companies that believe in our cause.
