THE STORY:

Our goal is to engage our listeners by giving them live feed; live videos; and creative photography to educate them on the endangered animals of Africa.  We work with World Wildlife Fund, an non profit organization that are dedicated to preserve endangered animal's habitats. Check out their link here: https://www.worldwildlife.org/, as well as their long established history: https://www.worldwildlife.org/about/history. 100% of your donation will go into the organization.

The five endangered animals that they're focusing on now consist of the Riverine Rabbit, Ethiopian Wolf, Black Rhino, Grevy’s Zebra, and Pickerell’s Reedfrog.  Phew.  That’s plentiful!

Each animal has been endangered for over three years and has the capability of reproducing.  The Riverine Rabbit, endangered since 2003 is located in South Africa while the Ethiopian Wolf, also known as the Simien Fox, has been endangered since 2004.  It’s intimidating to look at the Black Rhino; however, there are less than 5000 of these on this earth, and we cannot let them go!  They are being threatened through poaching for international trade.  The Black Rhino is located in South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, and Zimbabwe.  Their largest threat is poaching for international trade with habitat loss a close second.  Lastly, we need to mention the Chimpanzee.  They share an enormous amount of our DNA.  WHOA!  There are under two-hundred thousand in the world today and face threats due to agriculture, hunting, and illegal pet trade.  We are hoping we will see one while on safari shortly!

Currently, there are less than one-thousand Zebras in existence.  This particular Zebra species has been labeled endangered because there are less than 1000 casualties mainly due to reduced water source and habitat degradation.

While our videos show much of the devastation and endangered environments within Africa, I wanted to share with you some quick stats regarding the video process, the photographic journey, and the close quarters!

Fund Allocation:
100% goes into WWF organization and they will pay for our trip to Africa as well as necessary equipments to create flims on live and those films will be launched on TV channels and shared online as an effort for promotion and education.

About me:
I am a travel content editor at About.com in NY. I love to travel and have been to over 50+ countries so far. It was when I'm in African safaris watching native hunter killing animals and carpenters destroying their habitats that I decided to join an established wildlife preservation non profit org to advocate the importance of those animal lives. It's also unethical to kill them.  I became an activist for supporting wildlife.

Thank you for your support!
You made it this far in our campaign and we would like to give you a HUGE THANK YOU!  WAHOO!  There are multiple ways to contribute to this campaign so don’t leave now!  We are so passionate about saving these animals that we are determined to produce an amazing video and photography journals and films to share with all of our donors. We will update our donors for those films and photos, which we will host them on multiple websites. They will be launched by the end of October. Thanks for your contribution!!

Can’t donate at this time?  No sweat!  We would love it if you would share this campaign on all of your social media pages.  This in itself, will help spread the need to help the endangered animals of Africa!
Thank you and have a wonderful day!
