Showing some love to Chris
Organized by: Nicole Pagoulatos
Hey Friends, I'm starting this fund on behalf of our mutual friend, Christopher Cicerone. Some of you may already be aware, Chris has been facing the challenges of cancer...chemotherapy and associated therapies due to a recent diagnosis of Lymphoma. Many of us are concerned about Chris's welfare, especially since he is facing this alone. Chris has had his own company for a few years now and as we all know health insurance is sky high and so like many other young, hard working business owners it was always a priority he would eventually get around to acquiring. Now the expected costs of medical treatment, combined with peripheral costs, essential home-care materials, and dietary requirements have added a further weight to his challenges. Accordingly, I have established a donation fund through Crowd Rise. We are hoping to raise enough funds to assist Chris during this extreme time of need, to assist with medical bills as well as stacking personal expenses that have taken a back seat to his fight. If you would like to join us in assisting Chris, please make a donation through Crowd Rise. An acknowledgement will be provided and your name will be added to the list of donors. I'm sure you share in our best wishes and prayers for Chris's speedy recovery.Since we have only begun to absorb this news and research options this is just the beginning of the plan to support Chris. I plan on making a facebook page to keep everyone updated of his progress, events scheduled, or just simply to leave a message of hope for him. I plan to organize a day where we all post a picture wearing lime green for Lymphoma awareness, maybe a spartan type race in his honor, things like that. If anyone wants to help plan these types of things or send over ideas I am open and welcoming your support.Chris is very close to my heart and I'm sure if you know him you love him too. He has been making me laugh since 1st grade with his quick wit and humorous outlook on things. At the same time he has protected and looked out for me like an older brother would. He is the first to go out of his way for others and has one of the biggest hearts I have ever encountered. If you know Chris like I do you know he would be the first to open his heart for you, but the last to ever ask for help and that is why I encourage you to to show him your support now.
