Edward Connor wrote -My Daughter, Karli, was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) in December 2010. She is now in remission and we were able to attend Camp Sunshine as a family this past summer. It is a place where parents make friends at camp as much if not more than the kids. There is no lack for things to do, for the kids and the adults. After 2 1/2 years of chemotherapy for Karli, I still hold a vivid memory of sitting in a kayak in Lake Sebago, looking up into the beautiful Maine sky, and thanking God for Karli's remission and a place like Camp Sunshine. Now I'd like to try and give back a small token of appreciation. To be a part of the means that would enable another family to attend this place that meant so much to us. And to freeze my $#@ off in the endeavor. Freezin' for a Reason.
