The Washington D.C. community is coming together and skating alongside Scott Hamilton to Turn Cancer Upside Down™!

Inspired to make a change both locally and nationally in cancer research we are asking the skating community to participate with us in Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer D.C. Through peer-to-peer fundraising and sponsorships we are raising the necessary funds for cancer research.
We are proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Center for Cancer & Immunology Research at Children’s National Medical Center.

- Sk8 with us at the on-ice celebration on Sunday March 4th from 11:30am-2:30pm at Kettler Capitals Iceplex.
- 11:30am-1:10pm On-ice celebration and Exhibition *
- 1:10pm-2:30pm Family Skate!
- 1:10pm-2:30pm we will also host the VIP Meet & Greet with Scott Hamilton!*
*All participants are part of Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer D.C. as a volunteer fundraiser once they have registered online. Participants will receive rewards based on the amount raised. Additional incentives are listed below.
Registered participants can bring one additional chaperone or guest to the on-ice celebration. All other guests will need to pay the $25 admission at the door.
$500 Raised: You are NOW part of the on-ice celebration figure skating group ensemble which will perform on March 4th during the on-ice celebration for Scott Hamilton, honored guests, family and fellow fundraisers.
Fundraisers must register above and raise $500 by February 23rd.
Fundraisers must also commit to practices at Kettler Capitals Iceplex on February 25th 6-6:30pm.
$1,000 Raised: Participants who raised $1,000 or more by March 4th are welcome to attend the meet & greet with Scott Hamilton and other honored guests on March 4th at Kettler Capitals Iceplex.
$1,500 Raised: Participants who raise $1,500 or more by February 23rd will be eligible to perform a figure skating solo, duo or trio during the on-ice celebration on March 4th.
Only the first 15 fundraisers who raise $1,500 or more will be able to participate.
$1,500 Raised by a Skating Team Organization: Organization may choose one team from their organization to perform in the on-ice celebration.
By giving your time to fundraise, your talents on the ice, and your treasures through your network of donors, we will make an impact in cancer research and help the next person diagnosed with cancer.
