THE STORY:

Shyla, my loving pet, means the world to me. anytime anyone meets her, they instantly love her. She is a rescue dog, so she is really appreciative, sweet, kind, loving, and super well behaved. I love her sooo much. Well, a few months ago she was unable to urinate for about 48 hours. She would beg to go outside to potty, but nothing would come out. It broke my heart to see her like that. I did some research online and discovered that after 3 days canines can die from the toxins. So, with the help of a friend, we rushed her to 24hr emergency care. They catheterized her, drained her, and gave her some meds, and told me she wasn't fixed; but that the work they did on her was a band-aid. Sure enough, 7 days later she was blocked again. We ran her to a veterinarian and they kept her in over night care for 3 days. They proceeded to tell me that they did not know what was causing the blockage, stating that nothing came up on their ex-ray. The vet told me that she had to go to a specialist in Sugar Land, Texas. She referred me to a specialist surgeon and we rushed her in to surgery. They removed 32 bladder stones that were blocking her from urinating. She can go potty again, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Well the total for all of the veterinarian bills, specialist, surgery, and meds was over $6000. The only way I was able to keep her alive was by the loving help of two friends opening care credit accounts as a loan to me for her care. I have not had much success with coming up with the funds to repay them, as I lost my apt to renovations, and my safe was stolen in its entirety from that apartment before I moved. I am sad because my I have already lost one friend over this, and I'm desperate to repay and repair my friendships. To make matters worse, I cant afford any post surgery follow ups, her needed heart worm meds, the immunizations she is past due for, etc etc. I am not good at asking for help, but what prompted me to take the crowd funding route for help was a couple of days ago, I watched as Shyla had what looked to be a stroke or seizure of some sort. She lost her balance and equilibrium and was obviously rattled shaken and I started praying. I HAVE to get her back to the vets ASAP to see whats going on inside of her. She is all i have, and I want her to be well more than anything. Any help is VERY appreciated..Thank you in advance for helping my baby girl. God bless
