Siddur Cloud is a Jewish Siddur application enabling newcomer's to the Jewish faith to find a perfect place to start and get acquainted to the customs and prayers. What distinguishes Siddur Cloud and makes it truly revolutionary is the concept of including English translation, English transliteration, along with the original Hebrew - all in a simple and concise package permitting the user to say it right and read it right!
The idea for this application sparked on two fronts:
- The Siddur Cloud Team always wanted to come closer to our Jewish faith but didn't know where to start. The obvious reasons kept creeping up to form a connection with a rabbi and then take it from there but there wasn't a great Siddur specifically for my customs and if there was, it definitely wasn't portable enough to carry around.
- The second front came from Rabbi Israel Itshakov. Truly a man of wonders! His work enabled this entire project with his countless hours of dedication to our community and faith. His transliterated and translated text makes our community come together and enjoin for some of the most conducive moments in our lives. Ranging from high holidays to a simple blessing after a meal with a whole work for Birkat Hamazon, all of which was meticulously written and editted by the people at BenIsrealBooks.com!
The work that is to go into the Siddur Cloud application takes time and patience to create the perfect product that matches the work of the Rabbi to the impeccable expectations of our community and Jewish tradition. We ask for your help to make this project a reality and to ensure that those who wish to come to the faith are able to do so on a personal level and without having to feel left out.
Let’s make our generation the generation of Moshiach!
