Please support our year end and holiday campaign to bring more underserved youth into the great outdoors. NYCICO is a community outreach program of the Sierra Club that provides opportunities for urban youth to explore and protect the natural world, developing their leadership skills and honing a love of the outdoors.
The Sierra Club Foundation’s goal is to end our reliance on dirty fossil fuels; reverse the social, economic, and environmental damage caused by global climate change; restore, connect, and protect healthy ecosystems so that wildlife and wilderness can thrive; and successfully transition to a clean, green, renewable energy economy that better serves people and nature.
Your donation to benefit the Sierra Club NYC Inspiring Connections Outdoors program will go to The Sierra Club Foundation, fiscal sponsor of our charitable environmental programs. The Sierra Club Foundation is a public, charitable organization that is exempt from taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. By law, The Sierra Club Foundation retains control and discretion/variance power over all charitable funds received, including how they are disbursed within the purposes for which they were contributed; the Foundation reserves the unilateral right to select those recipients or beneficiaries it believes will best accomplish those purposes.
