Sierra Love Vasquez is a 14 yr old girl and like her name implies she is strong, beautiful and radiates love.
Sierra was lucky, born into a financialy struggling but hardworking immigrant family she might not have much materialy but she has the love and support of her mom and dad.
Sierra was also blessed with a talent, she is an amazing soft ball player and everyone knew she was special from her very first little league game. Now at the age of 14 when most young girls in high school are hanging out with friends and posting on social media, she is out in the south Texas heat practicing her skills 6 day's a week with a focus rarely seen in a child her age while maintaining A/B average in school.
Sierra keeps her eye on the prize, a college scholarship and a shot at the olympics. She would be the first in her family to attend college and she know's that this is her opportunity to succeed.
Sierra is on a elite team, she is the pitcher for the Select girls Fastpitch. Unlike most of her team mate's from wealthier families she has to work odd jobs and save every penny she earns for equipment and necessities, she is also at the level where her team must travel around the country to compete with other elite teams.
The travel expenses are extremely taxing on her parents and she hates having to see her family struggle so she can attend the games. All money donated will go to cover travel costs, she is currently scheduled to attend the PGF tournament in California, a prestigious once in a lifetime opportunity that many college scouts will be attending. Please help her obtain her goals and become a role model to all underprivileged kids that the American dream is attainable through hard work and dedication.
