BENEFITING: ANDREW WEISHAR FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Mar 31, 2014
The Alpha Iota, Sigma Chi Fraternity of Illinois Wesleyan has made conscious efforts to serve the community of Bloomington-Normal and give back in every way we can. Through our philanthropy events each year we have managed to raise a substantial amount for our Philanthropies over the years. This year, we would like to continue that trend with our annual Derby Days event, in which we will be trying to raise money for The Andrew Weishar Foundation (Weish4ever).
The Andrew Weishar Foundation is a foundation for the late IWU football player Andrew Weishar, who lost his life to a hard fight with cancer, but has left his mark on the Illinois Wesleyan community which continues to display the significance of his legacy. His journey through life is not only evidence of what it is like to live a high spirited and meaningful life, but is also evidence of the courageous lost and survived lives from cancer.
This being said, The Alpha Iota, Sigma Chi Fraternity needs your help to make this happen. Our goal is to raise as much as we can in order to put on a successful event and to raise enough money to donate to The Weishar Foundation. Help us make this Derby Days the best we've have ever had!
