BENEFITING: Alzheimer's Association
While most of you probably know me, my name is Zach Levin and I am a current sophomore at the University of Michigan. I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit and view my page, as each page view helps with the spreading of Alzheimer's awareness.
This November, for the first time, the brothers of Sigma Alpha Mu (Sammy) and myself are putting away our razors in order to grow facial hair, awareness, and funds to end Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. As you probably know, my Grandmother's life was taken by this horrible disease, and I am asking you to help honor her life with a donation to the Judy Fund, a family fund at the Alzheimer's Association®, which has been Sammy's national charity of choice since 2005.
We are growing our beards long to help keep brains strong, and we need your support! We respectfully request that you support our philanthropic efforts by making a donation today. You may support any of our chapters throughout the nation by clicking on their team page below.
Alzheimer’s is a devastating, cruel disease, and we are so glad to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s work to end it and to provide care and support programs and services for people living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers.
More than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, and as many as 11 million members of the baby boom generation could develop it. The burden of Alzheimer’s on caregivers is agonizing. More than 15.5 million people are serving as unpaid caregivers to people with dementia and their ranks, too, will swell.
Again, thank you so much for helping us put an end to Alzheimer’s. I am extremely excited for this new event, and I hope that together we can make this event a success. So please help me in putting an end to Alzheimer's disease, while also honoring the life of my grandmother.
