BENEFITING: McKenzie River Trust
Double Your Impact!
- $5,000 in matching funds available.
- Deadline: Friday November 4 at midnight.
Join the Eugene tech community in supporting the work the McKenzie River Trust is doing to protect our outdoor spaces and quality of life by donating to the 2nd annual Silicon Shire for the River fundraiser. The McKenzie River Trust has been working since 1989 to protect and restore our natural systems and connect our community with the places they care about most. Through donation, purchase, and conservations easements, the McKenzie River Trust works to protect our lands in perpetuity. It’s important work, and it can’t be done without our financial support.
Six Eugene tech companies -- Palo Alto Software, SheerID, IDX, The Engine Company, MPulse Software, and Concentric Sky -- have come together to jump-start this campaign by putting up $5,000 in matching funds. We need to raise at least $5,000 in donations to take full advantage of this challenge match. Last year our goal for the campaign was to raise $10,000 - we raised $13,565. This year, let’s show our continued support for the McKenzie River Trust by raising $20,000.
The larger Eugene tech community has come together to support the McKenzie River Trust's work because this is our home and it needs to be cared for. It’s where we do business. It’s where our employees live. Our futures are linked, and that can’t be ignored. Join us in supporting the important work the McKenzie River Trust is doing to protect our futures today by donating now.
