Simba's Delaware Kittens
Organized by: Kitt Shattuck
My aunt and I have started volunteering for our community, to help the feral cats and kittens all over Delaware and beyond. Our goals are to: -Trap, neuter and release feral cats, so that they are fully vaccinated and unable to continue the population boom. They'll also be less of a nuisance in residential areas. -Finding homes for kittens, so that they are not left to the elements and the predators. Kittens are also very susceptible to virus and parasites, and because they are so small, it can be all the more lethal. -Finding plans for adult cats, some of whom have lived in neighborhoods and under porches for so long that they may be adoptable! Imagine what a change that would be to their lives! -Educating about the feral cat problems everywhere. Let's get the word out! We would use this money to help us keep our kittens healthy before we adopt them out, to feed all the cats, give them shelter during winter and severe storms, grow our influence, deliver cats to areas with no feral population (and thus less kittens to adopt), and continue to educate. Please help us raise money to help these homeless cats find homes!
