BENEFITING: FOUNDATION FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY INC
We are the Simmons College Physical Therapy Doctoral Program and we are raising money for the Miami Marquette Challenge.
What is the Marquette Challenge? The Marquette Challenge is an annual fundraiser carried out by physical therapist students and physical therapist assistant students from all over the USA to fund physical therapy research! Help Simmons College raise the most this year!
Why should I care? If you are a Physical Therapist or PTA, money raised goes towards research. This ensures that you are using the best evidence based medicine, and are able to improve lives better than ever. If you are a Physical Therapy student (or PTA student), money raised goes towards supplying scholarships, and enhancing the field of therapy in the future. If you're anyone else, You're helping to fund the people that will the ones taking care of you when you get older, helping you to walk after you broke your leg, making sure you can return to work after that back injury, and getting you back to sports and hobbies when you hurt yourself. Physical Therapists are there to help you live a happier future.... get on their good side now!
What's in it for me? The Simmons College PT department will be planning events, raffles and fundraisers up through the month of April. You get to meet new people, win awesome prizes, and guarantee the better care of your health.
I don't have the financial ability to donate: If you are a local business and want to help us in other ways, we are always looking for items to add to our raffle baskets. No item is too small!
