Family and Friends, thank you for visiting my donation page for the 2017 Cape Cod Bay Challenge. If you have not heard, I recently was on an annual family vacation to the small town of Wellfleet, MA on Cape Cod. After a few days on the beach and fun in the sun, I decided to change my ticket and stay out here for the remainder of my last "college summer". This decisions allows me to participate in my THIRD Cape Cod Bay Challenge, a 30ish mile stand up paddleboard marathon that takes anywhere between 11-14 hours. (I know from experience .__.) The purpose of the Cape Cod Bay Challenge is to raise money and awareness for a non-profit organization called Christopher’s Haven. This organization provides housing to children and their families who come to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for a special type of pediatric cancer treatment. The treatment usually lasts anywhere from 6-8 weeks, which can be both financially and emotionally overwhelming. Christopher’s Haven offers several completely furnished apartments along with community space for daily outpatient treatments for out of state/country families. What Christopher’s Haven families go through makes me appreciate my wellbeing and motivates me to help make their lives a little bit easier and allow them to focus on their child. I am asking for a small donation; I have been challenged to raise money to enable my participation in the Cape Cod Bay Challenge. I appreciate your help. I appreciate you stopping by my safe, secure and efficient donation page and joining me on the fight against cancer.
