We continue to grow!
May 02, 2016
Organized by 3 Sinai dads, Richard Shamooilian, Justin Remeny and Allen Kamrava.
Our goal is to raise both funds and awareness for the Sinai Akiba Academy (SAA) endowment. Despite a stagnant economy, the costs of a private education continue to rise. A Jewish education, which is necessarily a private one, is essential in preserving our community and heritage. And unfortunately, it is becoming simply too costly for many. The endowment's goal is to bridge that gap. It hopes to aid our entire community in achieving a culturally rooted education for our children, by covering some of these costs. In doing so, it will decrease the impact of these cost increase, and allow more families to partake in SAA's top-tier educational system, and equal to the task Sinai community.
Our team will be running the Tough Mudder SoCal on October 16, 2016. All are encouraged to participate - the more the better!
Tough Mudder is a team-oriented 10-12 mile (18-20 km) obstacle course designed to test physical strength and mental grit. Tough Mudder puts camaraderie over finisher rankings and is not a timed race but a team challenge that allows participants to experience exhilarating, yet safe, world-class obstacles they won't find anywhere else.
Please be a part of this event by joining our cause or donating to it. All donations through Crowdrise are tax deductible and Sinai will receive an individualized list of each donor and their donation.
