Single mom had vehicle reposessed
Organized by: Ruth Cook
A wonderful lady I know in my small town is going through a painful divorce. She was a stay at home mom to her precious 2 yr old baby boy. Her husband up and left them in the middle of the night, closed their joint bank account, and left her with all the bills. Only owning one asset, her vehicle, she decided to take out a title loan out on it to keep her and her son afloat financially. She also started her own small cleaning business, hanging flyers up around town which is bringing in a small amount of income. However, unfortunately she couldn't make the payments on her loan and her vehicle was repossesed. With interest, she now needs $1500 to get ownership back and her title back. Our small town does not have a bus system, so her vehicle is her life line to continue working in her housekeeping business, take her son to daycare, and even just go to the grocery store for food. She is saving every penny she can and has a few hundred saved so far, but is afraid she won't have the full amount by the time the lien ends at the end of May. Thank you for taking the time to read this mother's story of falling on hard times. If you can contribute anything, it would be a blessing. And I know how incredibly grateful she would be. GOD BLESS!
