Make a difference from a distance this Halloween, virtually join a fun, costumed walk-a-thon from anywhere around the world - help Community Interface make the holidays special this year for people with disabilities! Community Interface's family and friends are scattered near and far and its hard for everyone to attend events altogether so all are invited to participate in this virtual event from their very own neck of the woods.
It's simple! Just convince your friends and family to join you on a walk, a stroll, a trek-a-thon around your own neighborhood on October 31st (hopefully dressed as a ghost or a goblin) around 9 am, make a donation here to Community Interface Services, and just have fun. A lively crew will gather at the Oceanside Harbor in Oceanside, CA on October 31st from 9am - 11am but we hope to see lots of posts to our Facebook Page of other Teams that Trek 'n' Treat in support of Community Interface around the rest of the world. Last year we had 13 states in the US represented and we hope to have more areas this year!
See www.communityinterfaceservices.org/trek-n-treat for more details on the Oceanside, CA event. All are invited to join us live!
