As some of you may know, I will be receiving my M.Ed. in the Foundations of Behavior Analysis in May 2015 (and getting married--big month!) I discovered my passion for working with kids on the autism spectrum after working in the early childhood education classroom at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism. I have learned how effective ABA can be, especially with the little ones!
Unfortunately, there are many places in the world where families of children on the spectrum do not have the education or access to resources and support to help their children as we do in the United States.
As a member of a SkillCorps team, I will be volunteering in Chandigarh, India for two weeks in December 2015. Our team will help provide education about autism and ABA to families as well as work directly with the kids! We will provide sustainable resources to SOREM School for Autism.
I am thrilled for this opportunity and cannot wait to share it with everyone! Please consider a donation to the Global Autism Project to help kids, families, & educators all over the world. THANK YOU!! :)
