SkillCorps team members traveling to India in July 2015 will be working with SOREM center for autism in Chandigarh, training staff and reaching out to parents of children with autism.
I consider myself so fortunate in that I love my job. I feel passionate about the work I do and the population of individuals I serve. In an attempt to broaden my own experiences and push myself to continue to develop and grow in my field, I started to look for other ways to affect change and impact a wider group of individuals. Through the Global Autism Project, an organization sends teachers/supervisors and Board Certified Behavior Analysts to provide training to instructional staff in other countries. I have been accepted for a trip to India in July 2015! I am SO excited for this opportunity! Help me attain my fundraising goal of $5,000!
