Did you know that the YMCA is a charitable non-profit? Did you know that every day we help deserving individuals and families access the mind, body, and spiritual nurturing that the West Suburban YMCA offers, regardless of socioeconomic status? Did you know that our financial aid applications have almost tripled in the first three months of 2016 as we have become more transparent about the aid we offer? There is a need in the communities that we serve that the Annual Fund helps us meet.
But we can't get there without help. Join us! Help us keep the mission going. Help us help others have a place to feel connected, motivated, rejuvenated, relaxed, at peace. Whether you can give $20, $50, $100, or $500, every little bit helps. $50 offsets the cost of a youth membership, providing a safe space for our community's teens to hang out and have fun. $100 Enrolls a child in swim lessons, ensuring a lifetime of fun and safety on the water. $250 Provides a safe and nurturing environment for the child of a single mom while she works two jobs. $500 Helps a cancer survivor and their family fund their physical and emotional strength through our Livestrong @ the YMCA program. Share this with your friends and family, your coworkers and neighbors. Interested in the impact the YMCA can have? Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSc-06KaeP4.
