BENEFITING: Four Paws Coonhound Rescue and Friends, Inc.
Champ is only 2 to 3 years of age and very small but someone, some horrible individual, decided to throw this small dog off an overpass bridge, a distance of about 20 feet. They could have taken him to a local shelter, or rescue but instead they chose the most cruel option of all, to try and kill him outright or injure him significantly so he would die a painful slow death.
A good samaritan who actually saw the violent act at which Champ was thrown from the bridge, ran to check on the little shaking and injured dog. Champ was in extreme pain and frightened of all people now since he could not run away, he was unsure as to what this good smaritan would do. You can see the fear in his eyes of from the picture taken of him under the overpass.
The good samaritan called a local rescue and Champ and driven to Four Paws Coonhound and Friends, inc. where he was immediately brought to the emergency vet. He was in severe shock, ex-rays showed that the impact broke his back left femur. He had to be hospitalized for several days in order to stabilize him (from the shock), before they could prepare him for surgery, to fix his femur.
This was an extremely urgent unexpected expense for the rescue, and we would be grateful to anyone who can help contribute towards his medical bill. If anyone would like to see this bill, please email us directly email@example.com (we could not upload the PDF)
Four Paws Coonhound Rescue and Friends, Inc. is a 501c3 rescue and all donations are tax deductible. Thank you caring about Champ.
