Childhood should be about laughter and smiling. Kids with cleft palates/lips are denied that joy - self concious about the simple act of smiling.
A person's smile is one of the first things you notice about them. Millions of children in developing countries with unrepaired clefts live in shame, but more importantly, have difficulty eating, breathing and speaking.
Cleft repair surgery is simple, and the transformation is immediate.
Please help smiletrain.org get kids the surgeries they need. You can help make a direct impact in a child's life by donating to this campaign. No amount is too small.
This bike ride is a great excuse to gather up a bunch of people and inspire them to raise money for smiletrain.org
